Having a Space Cleared by Jennifer Boose

In the fall of 2010, after a two-year period of unrelenting high stress, my wife Elsa and I moved into a new home, a 60’s ranch house in a neighborhood  set in its own small but dense copse of woods.

This home houses not only us, but our offices.  Hers is combined with her artist studio in the main floor, mine – McKeithan Pain Treatment Center – is in the daylight basement at the rear of the house.

When we moved, we ourselves were so exhausted that it took awhile to realize we were not fully comfortable in the place.   At first it I thought it was just the craziness of packed boxes and unfound items that was disturbing, but we both began to wonder if there was something else present.  Then Rebecca, my associate at the Center, shared that she just didn’t feel comfortable in the place, that in fact, it was downright unpleasant feeling, so that she wanted to get away.

With three of us picking up on this energy, whatever it was, it was obvious we needed help, so, knowing Jennifer from other work she had done for us, we called her in on the case.  She came out one morning with her kit and went to work.  I couldn’t spend much time with the process, but Elsa and later Rebecca were able to accompany her, participating and learning as adjustments were made to accommodate Hartmann Lines and other energies impinging on, and in one case, marching right through the house and property.

She left us with some instructions about further care of the property, saying she would send us complete information shortly, which she did. The details are not important here, since they’re specific to our house in our location, and the history that the house contained.  What is important is the fact that we all immediately felt a lift, a sense of freeing-up of the space, so that breathing is easier. 

Our clients feel welcomed by the ambiance of the office, which would’ve been impossible no matter how much decorating we did over the top of those energies.  There is the real sense for me that, whenever I set out to improve something, the house works with me.  Tools come quickly to hand.  When I need a scrap of wood, or just the right material to finish a job, it’s there, or I find it with ease.  When I measure something, cut it, and install it, it goes up with very little difficulty.  This has definitely not been the case in my previous homes, and I like it.  I like it a lot, and I credit Jennifer and her work for that.  If the work was as much a transformation in me as something physically/spiritually to do with the house, that’s fine with me.  Whatever she did, worked, which is the principle criterion with which I assign value.

We do not really know who has lived in this house previously, or what has occurred, and we neither want nor need to know.  We are now free of whatever energy was interfering with our use and enjoyment of our new place.

This experience was nothing short of amazing and I don't typically believe in this sort of stuff. My house feels like cotton has been unpacked from it. I am thrilled and amazed at how wonderful my home feels.  I've done space clearing and feng shui on my property before, so it already felt pretty good.  I really didn't expect to notice too much of a difference; when I asked you to do the geomancy and clearing it was more from a feeling of  "Hey, it could always be better."  All I can say is, the difference is phenomenal!  The whole house and yard feel lighter, brighter, more relaxing, more welcoming and peaceful.  I walk around with a smile on my face all the time, people's interest in my work has increased (I work from home, btw), my pets are more loving and relaxed, I've had fewer computer issues, the plants are growing like crazy, and I've even noticed more wildlife hanging out in my yard.   Thank you, thank you, thank you!  You are really making a positive contribution with your work!  ~ KM, Winston Salem, North Carolina

Since the clearing, I have not felt like moving out of my house. Now I find soothing sanctuary here. Since my space clearing, I've noticed that the squirrels in my yard are not afraid of me anymore! Yesterday, a squirrel walked across the lawn, climbed into the birdbath only about 18 inches away from me for a drink, then climbed to a branch just above my head and napped.
